Eastern Cape Grade 12 Preparatory (Mock) Exams – Key Timelines

2025 Preparatory Exams

  • The draft timetable for the 2025 NSC Grade 12 Preparatory Exams spans 25 August to 23 September 2025. A Life Orientation Common Task is scheduled for 1 September 2025. These exams are intended to gauge readiness for the final NSC exams and to test administrative protocols.  

2024 Trial Exams

  • The 2024 Grade 12 trial exams in Eastern Cape commenced on 19 August 2024 and concluded on 16 September 2024.  
  • A draft timetable for the 2024 preparatory exams was released around 30 May 2024, indicating that the schedule was being finalized in the weeks leading up to August.
